A TIGIT is a snippet of a song with lyrics taken word-for-word from the Bible. Each TIGIT consists of a few verses, taken in sequence, that have a common theme. A TIGIT is typically between 3 and 10 verses.

A TIGIT differs from traditional songs because words are not repeated in a chorus. However, the musical melodies are repeated to make the TIGIT easier to remember, thus making Bible scripture memorization easier.

Without repeating choruses, TIGIT songs tell the Bible story in correct sequence. This eliminates any confusion about the order of how it was really told in the Bible.
